Rich and The Poor Boys rocked out our dance party. They did a great job of weaving toe-tapping up-tempo blues numbers to keep our hundred plus guests entertained. I was impressed with the tightness of their playing, and the way they kept the music coming so the dancers stayed up and going. Very pro attitude about the sound and quality of the various mic levels, and i have been a long-standing performer that knows the difference. You won't be sorry to book them in. They deliver!

Rich and the Poor Boys recently played at a Blues, Brews and Barbecues evening at Waimea Plains Lifestyle Village. To say they were well received is an understatement. This Nelson/Tasman based band commenced playing while we consumed our desserts. They generously continued playing well past their allotted 90 minutes. Although we engaged them to add background ambience to our themed evening, it wasn’t long before keen dancers took to the floor. Those who didn’t partake in the dancing showed their enjoyment with foot tapping and singing along well into the evening. We plan to ask Rich and the Poor Boys back to play on our lawn this coming summer. We’re sure to invite them back for other occasions too. We highly recommend them!
